An electrical sheet and strip refers to a specially cold rolled sheet and strip which contains silicon in order to develop magnetic characteristics. From 2010 to 2011 the production of electrical sheet and strip in Germany increased by approximately 11 percent, reaching its peak at 572 thousand metric tons. In the following years Germany's production decreased. While data for Germany from 2016 and 2017 was suppressed by the source.
