EU-27: production output of hot rolled bars by leading country 2010-2022
Between 2010 and 2021, Italy has been by far the leading producer of hot rolled bars in Europe, with the peak production recorded in 2011, at nearly 4.2 million metric tons. In the following years, the production in Italy fluctuated, reaching a total of approximately 3.5 million metric tons in 2022. That year, Spain was the second largest producer in the EU, with about 1.35 million metric tons of hot rolled bar production.
