This statistic displays the rate of cyber crime experienced on construction sites in England and Wales over a 12 month period in 2015, by measuring the amount of construction premises which reported having experienced this type of crime. This survey suggests that over one third of construction premises in England and Wales experienced problems caused by computer viruses over this twelve month period.

These figures were gathered following the Commercial Victimization Survey of 473 members of the construction industry. The exact dates of the interview process are unclear, which makes it possible that some of the incidents reported took place in late 2014, not just 2015.

Not all of these "cyber crimes" are considered crimes legally.
