Capital account balance of payments in Japan 2012-2021
In 2021, the balance of payments (BoP) on the capital account in Japan amounted to a deficit of around 420 billion Japanese yen. The deficit in the balance on capital account indicates a net outflow of capital from Japan in the form of investments in foreign assets, the repayment of loans from abroad or other forms of international capital transfers.
