Zara is the Spanish clothing retailer Inditex Group’s flagship brand. Of the numerous fashion companies that belong to Inditex, Zara has the highest store numbers on a global scale. As of January 2023, Spain, France and Italy were the European countries with the highest number of Zara stores as shown in this statistic.
Zara outside Europe
Besides Europe, Zara has a solid presence in the Middle East and Africa as well. The number of Zara stores in countries like Saudi Arabia, and Qatar rose consistently over the displayed time frame. In addition to Zara, Inditex Group’s other brands continue adding to their store locations in the EMEA region.

Zara is by far Inditex’s most successful brand. In the financial year 2022, Zara accounted for almost three-quarters of the group's sales share worldwide. Bershka came in second place, yet contribed just seven percent of Zara’s sales share.
