3D printing: likelihood to use AM for constructing tools 2016

This chart illustrates the results of a 2016 survey conducted among company representatives in 12 different countries. Respondents were asked to indicate how likely they were to use additive manufacturing or 3D printing to produce or construct tools in five years. The results were grouped by industry segment. Some 11 percent of respondents from the automotive and aerospace sector said they were likely to use this technology for the construction or production of tools.
