This statistic shows the expected change trends in the number of small and medium enterprise (SME) employees in Italy in the following six months from February 2016 to January 2018. From the responding SMEs, in January 2018, 25 percent expected to increase their employee numbers while eight percent expected to decrease them in the following six months.
