Rabbits: reasons for avoiding vet registration in the UK in 2016
This statistic shows the share of rabbit owners who have not registered their rabbit with a veterinary practice in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. During the survey, it was found that 37 percent of responding rabbit owners stated that their rabbit was not registered with a veterinarian. Almost two thirds of responding rabbit owners considered registering with a veterinarian not to be necessary, 38 percent stating the ease at which they can use a veterinary practice on an ad-hoc basis, and 27 percent stating that their pet is healthy. In addition, 14 percent of respondents considered registering with a vet to be too expensive.
