This statistic shows the number of reported or arrested individuals for mafia vote-buying in Italy from the second semester of 2013 to the second semester of 2017. According to the study results, the phenomenon is on the rise: the figure grew from eight to 29 total cases between the second semester of 2015 and the second semester of 2017. This was also the highest number of cases over the selected period.
