In 2022, the G7 countries of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States held 30 percent of the global gross domestic product (GDP). In 2027, that figure is projected to drop to 28 percent. Considering the G20 countries, excluding the G7 countries, the GDP is expected to account for around 44.5 percent of the global GDP in 2027 which is around two percentage points increase from 2022.
