This survey shows the percentage of adults in the U.S. who expected to rely on various sources for living assistance as they get older in 2016 and 2017. In 2016, around 38 percent of Americans expected to rely on Medicare for living assistance later in life whereas this percentage rose to 57 percent in 2017.
