Manufacture of photo equipment: number of enterprises 2009-2014

The number of enterprises in the optical instruments and photographic equipment manufacturing industry in Turkey increased by one enterprise (+12.5 percent) in 2014 in comparison to the previous year. Accordingly, 2014 was the first time during the observed period that the number of enterprises in this industry has increased in Turkey. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant lower number of enterprises than the preceding years.
Only active units which either had turnover or employment at any time during the reference period should be included.
