This statistic displays the penetration rate of intelligent personal assistants on smartphones in 2017 and 2018, with a forecast for 2022, by company or brand. In 2018 Google Assistant had a penetration rate of about 51 percent across all smartphones. That share was forecast to increase to 60 percent by 2022, due to the expansion of Google Assistant to lower price tier smartphones.
