Breakdown of final biofuel consumption in France 2022, by type
In 2022, biodiesel was by far the most used biofuel in France. Biodiesel of vegetable origin ranked first among types of biodiesel. It accounted for almost 65 percent of the total biofuel consumption. Pure ethanol was the second most consumed biofuel, although it represented only 20 percent of the total biofuels' consumption in France.
