Breakdown of final biofuel consumption in France 2021, by type
In 2021, biodiesel was by far the most used biofuel in France. Biodiesel of vegetable origin ranked first among types of biodiesels. It accounted for almost 68 percent of the total biofuel consumption. Pure ethanol was the second most consumed biofuel, although it represented only 15 percent of the total consumption of France.
