Italy: preference for printed books or e-books 2015-2016
This statistic illustrates the distribution of book readers in Italy in 2010 and 2016, by book format. The study suggests that the share of book readers who read only print books declined by nine percentage points over a year, from 69 percent in 2015 to 60 percent in 2016. By contrast, the share of readers who read e-books and print books equally grew from 10 percent in 2015 to 14 percent in 2016.
