Mexico: number of refugees 2010-2020
In 2020, there were approximately 45,500 refugees residing in Mexico, up from just over nine thousand reported three years earlier. The number of refugees hosted by the Latin American country has multiplied in the last few years, mainly due to the increasing number of Venezuelans, Haitians and Central Americans migrating to Mexico.
