Mexico: number of incoming migrants 2021, by country of origin
Countries in the Northern Triangle of Central America were the leading countries of origin of incoming foreign migrants in Mexico in 2021. That year, 76,185 people whose country of origin was Honduras registered as incoming migrants with the Mexican authorities. The second most important country of origin for foreign migrants entering Mexico was Guatemala, with53,196 people.
