Number of active construction companies change in the Netherlands 2008-2016

This statistic shows the percentage change on the previous year of the number of active companies in the construction industry in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2016. In this time period, the number of active construction linked companies grew every year. The largest growth was seen between 2007 and 2008, when there was an 8.8 percent growth. The second largest growth was seen in 2015, with 4.4 percent. As of 2016, the growth percentage amounted to 3.1 percent when the number of active construction companies in the Netherlands reached a total of approximately 175,600, over 5,000 companies more than in 2015.
