GVA from agriculture, forestry and fishing sector India FY 2012-2020
Agriculture, forestry and fishing contributed over 24 trillion Indian rupees in fiscal year 2020 to India's gross value output. Figures showed an increasing trend in values since fiscal year 2012. The largest share came from crops within the industry at 55 percent that same year, although fishing and livestock grew rapidly in the measured time period.
