This statistic displays the share of startups which adopted digital energy solutions in Italy in the period between 2015 and 2017, by field of application. According to data, most of the Italian startups investing in digital energy addressed their funds towards smart building (55 percent). In addition, 27 percent of them allocated resources to the development of smart grids, while 18 percent of the startups considered focused on smart manufacturing.
