Distribution of documentary film budget in Finland 2022
In 2022, funding from the Finnish Film Foundation made up on average 39 percent of the production budget of a documentary film in Finland. Production companies accounted for roughly 15 percent of the average documentary film production budget, followed by 14 percent of television companies funding. Support from AVEK, a promoter of independent audiovisual production, made up 11 percent of the average budget.
