Time of booking summer vacation in Europe 2019, by country

The majority of Europeans tend to book summer holiday travel in advance. The results of the 2019 survey from Ipsos showed that 82 percent of UK tourists and 81 percent of German tourists anticipated booking their summer holiday at least one month ahead. Polish respondents were most likely to be last minute bookers, with 41 percent saying they anticipated booking less than a month in advance compared to only 18 percent of Brits.
