Change in number of food and drink venues in Great Britain 2014-2019, by type

Over a five year period from June 2014 to June 2019, drink-led entertainment venues and cafe's in Great Britain grew the most, by 22 percent and 14.6 percent respectively. Night clubs experienced the biggest fall in venue numbers. Although many drink-led venues, including community and local pubs, sports bars and social clubs, still represent a high number of premises, they in fact showed a negative growth over the period.
