England: active memberships declared by the Royal Yachting Association 2018 by region

The statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of active memberships declared by Royal Yachting Association (RYA) clubs in England in 2018, by region. In 2018, it was found that 42 percent of the members of RYA clubs in the North West region of England went sailing or boating 13 times or more in the last year. RYA is the national body for all forms of boating, including dinghy and yacht racing, motor and sail cruising, sports boats, powerboat racing, windsurfing, canal and river boat cruising and personal watercraft in the UK.
