If looking at the ratio of profits out of the generated sales, between 2009 and 2017, the Italian market of spirits reported the highest value with 13.3 percent. The segment of water products ranked second with 8.4 percent, followed by sweet and candles with 7.9 percent. Over the considered period, the industry of olive oil had the lowest return on sales, with a share of 1.4 percent.
