Latin America: murders of trans & gender-diverse people 2008-2018

This statistics presents the results of the research project published by the Trans Murder Monitoring (TMM) on the occasion of the International Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR). According to the source, almost 2,350 trans and gender-diverse people were murdered in Latin America and the Caribbean between 2008 and 2018. As of September 2018, a total of 219 murders had been reported in the region.
