Perceived benefits of wind power in Ireland in 2017 and 2018
This statistic shows what the benefits of wind power are according to adults in Ireland in 2017 and 2018 according to a survey conducted by the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA). In 2018, 82 percent of respondents felt the biggest benefit from wind power was the reduction of CO2 emissions. This was an increase of eight percent when compared to 2017.
