This statistic shows the Fund manager remuneration in private equity funds in Luxembourg from 2017 to 2019. Private equity is a form of equity, shares representing ownership or an interest in an entity, that is not publicly traded. Typically, the investors are high net worth individuals and large institutional investors. It can take different shapes, such as a management buyout, management buying (MBI), a divisional buyout or venture capital for starting companies through an angel investor. In 2019, the majority of funds were charged with less than two percent.

based on interviews with large PE fund managers present in Luxembourg and data collection from Luxembourg depositaries, reconciled where possible, with official lists and data. The statistics are based on a selected market sample of 970 Luxembourg domiciled Private Equity funds representing approximately 85 percent of Private Equity assets managed through Luxembourg investment vehicles
