In the first quarter of 2022, about 50 percent of internet users in Peru between six and 11 years old accessed the world wide web through mobile phones. The same applied to 96.8 percent of internet users between the ages of 25 and 40 years old in the South American country. Overall, nearly 72.5 percent of Peruvian children aged six to 11 years old have used the internet in 2021.
