This chart presents consumer opinions on high street in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2018. According to the results of a survey conducted by members of the public, 74 percent of UK consumers were worried about their high street, with 70 percent of consumers also stating their concerns over shop closures in UK high streets. While 58 percent of consumers said they would like to have more and better shops, only a quarter of respondents said they would like a return back to smaller and local shops.
