Fifth graders' reading ability in rural Jharkhand public schools 2008-2018
This statistic displays the results of a survey in 2018 about the share of fifth graders enrolled in government schools across rural Jharkhand, who can read third grade text. The survey showed that in 2018, 29.4 percent of fifth graders could read third grade text. This was a decrease compared to 2016 when around 31.4 percent children who could read third grade text.
