Number of school students in Russia 2015-2021, by type of area
At the beginning of the school year 2021/2022, there were nearly 13.2 million students in schools located in urban areas of Russia. The number of students attending schools in the country's cities gradually increased over the observed period. The figures for rural schools saw a slight increase as well.
