This statistic represents the results of a survey about the opinion on freedom of expression, improvement in standard living condition and the judicial system in India in 2018. During the surveyed time period, the share of respondents who agreed that their right to express their view in public were protected accounted for 58 percent. The share of respondents who agreed that most people had a good chance to improve their standard of living accounted for 56 percent. The share of respondents who agreed that the judicial system treats everyone fairly accounted for 47 percent.
