Among the airline groups, China National Aviation Holding Group carried a total of approximately 1.26 million metric tons of cargo and mail, representing a drop of more than 28 percent from the previous year. The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent travel restrictions substantially affected China's aviation industry.
