Report of public funding for school sport in the United Kingdom 2015

This report summarizes the findings of a two year study, commissioned by the Department for Education (DfE) and carried out by NatCen Social Research, to investigate the use and perceived impacts of the PE and sport premium. The PE and sport premium is a cross-departmental funding initiative of over 150 million British pounds per year for primary schools in the United Kingdom and this report contains the findings of a survey, carried out in two waves (wave 1: 2013/14 - 586 schools, wave 2: 2014/15 - 533 schools), to understand the use, decision-making processes and impacts of the funding.
