Statista Dossier on sexual health in Nigeria

This dossier reports data on sexual health in Nigeria. The study focuses on four aspects related to sexual health which have a major impact in the country: contraception use, HIV, STDs, and female genital mutilation. The first chapter gives information on the use of contraception, providing data mainly on female use. The second and third chapters show data on HIV, its prevalence, and the transmission knowledge among the population. Thereafter, this dossier gives an overview on other sexual transmitted diseases, depicting also data on the diffusion on the whole continent. Lastly, the fifth chapter illustrates data on female genital mutilation, a serious health risk for many women in Nigeria.
