Number of warning stalking incidents in Japan FY 2013-2022
In 2022, approximately 1,868 judiciary admonitions following stalking cases were recorded in Japan, the lowest number of the past decade and a decrease by more than nine percent from the previous year. Stalking report numbers peaked at an all-time high in 2016, with about 3,562 cases, but have been on a steady decline each year since then.
