This statistic displays the results of a survey concerning reasons to increase the number of inbound and outbound flights in the Netherlands in 2018. The survey results show that as of 2018, the majority of respondents who approved of an increase in the volume of air traffic did so for economic reasons. Close to 50 percent of the surveyed people indicated a volume increase would be good for the Dutch economy, while approximately 20 percent of respondents cited an increased demand as a reason to increase flights.
