The leading importing country of Russian cigarettes was Kazakhstan, whose import volume was measured at over eight billion cigarette sticks, as of February 2020. Ukraine listed second with approximately three billion cigarette sticks imported from Russia, marking over 55 percent decline compared to the same period of 2018. The ranking also included Iraq, Serbia, and Kyrgyzstan.
