Guatemala: valid votes cast in 2019 presidential elections, by candidate The statistic presents the results of the presidential election primaries held in Guatemala on June 16, 2019. Sandra Torres - representing the National Unity of Hope Party (UNE) - was the most voted candidate, having obtained more 1.1 million votes. Alejandro Giammattei came in second with over 600 thousand valid votes cast. A runoff election is scheduled for August 11th, 2019 to elect the next Guatemalan president from these two candidates.
