Passenger cars and LCV sales in Russia 2012-2018, by brand origin

The sales distribution of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCV) across Russia stayed quite similar year-on-year throughout the observed period. Over half of the total sales volume was generated by localized foreign brands in the country. Roughly one-quarter of sales turnover came from the trade of national brands. As for imported passenger cars and LCV, the share fell from over 20 percent in 2015 to 17 percent by 2018.
