Mexico: number of vulnerable people due to income 2018, by state

Around 8.6 million people in Mexico were considered vulnerable due to a low income or a lack of it in 2018. Nearly 1.5 million of them lived in the state of Mexico, which was the region with the highest number of people considered vulnerable due to income in the North American country. On average, seven percent of the Mexican population were considered vulnerable due to income in that same year.
