The United States was the biggest grape-derived spirits importer in the world in 2021. All told, the U.S. imported grape-derived spirits valued at 2.1 billion U.S. dollars in that year. China was the next largest importer, with imports valued at 1.7 billion dollars. Grape-derived spirits are liquors such as brandy, cognac, and grappa.
