Online payments: UK consumer attitudes on authentication in 2019

In the United Kingdom (UK), consumers were generally welcoming towards added online payment security measures such as authentication through apps or SMS . According to the results of a 2019 survey carried out by Attest, while for 61 percent of consumers had a positive attitude towards online payment authentication, 12 percent of respondents found it too complicated and said it would discourage them from shopping online.
