Energy exports share in Russia 2006-2019, by destination

The share of export trade of energy products from Russia to the countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) accounted for nearly three quarters of the country's total exports in 2013. After a downfall to 62 percent in 2016, the share of energy exports grew to nearly 70 percent in the period between January and April 2019. The exports of energy products to members of the CIS had a highest share at 55.3 percent in 2011 but significantly decreased to 35.5 percent from January to April 2019.
