From 2011 to 2020, the electricity volume produced at the mills of the Swedish company Holmen fluctuated. In 2011, the company generated the lowest production of electricity at 440 gigawatt hours. In comparison, the highest amount of electricity was produced in 2016 at 784 gigawatt hours. In the years that followed, the production decreased and amounted to 621 gigawatt hours as of 2020. Holmen is one of the largest companies in the forestry industry in Sweden. Apart from producing renewable energy from wind and water, the company primarily produces wooden products such as paper and cardboard.
