Interest in cultured meat in Belgium 2019, by price
As of 2019, a sizable share of consumers in Belgium interested in buying cultured meat if the price was similar to the price of meat. 40 percent of people surveyed in 2019 indicated that they definitely or probably would purchase cultured meat at current meat prices. Meanwhile, the share of consumers who were interested in buying cultured meat at a higher price was significantly lower, at just 25 percent.
