Meat eating habits in Belgium 2019

As of 2019, the vast majority of consumers in Belgium consumed meat. In total, 97 percent of people surveyed here indicated that they ate meat. Roughly 30 percent identified as flexitarians: eating meat and fish but also regularly eating vegetarian meals. Meanwhile the share of vegan respondents was much lower, at less than one percent.
