In 2018, most LGBTQ+ individuals in Italy that did not report discrimination experiences in a sport context, mainly did so because they doubted that effective intervention would have occurred. According to the survey, people who claimed so accounted for approximately 54 percent of all respondents in the selected year. Conversely, only seven percent of interviewees did not report harassment cases because they were concerned about the staff members' reactions over the period considered.
