Europe: distribution of startups 2018, by geographical revenue source
European startups mostly generated their revenue within Europe in 2018. The majority of startups, 62.4 percent, relied on the domestic market, whereas almost 18 percent of startups generated revenue in other European Union member states within the Eurozone. When it comes to financing of startups, private capital in the form of savings of founders, family and friends, was the most common source.
